Posted on: Wednesday, March 08, 2006 at 19:51 Just a reminder, I got too far down on the list. And I made a mistake, don't know if anyone noticed. I didn't like the FAC system either. Anyone could find your name in the big brown books on the counter in every pawn shop and gun store. Just another LIEBRAL shopping scheme for criminals. ALL THAT IS NEEDED is a criminal registry. When someone goes to buy a gun, if they are ON THE CRIMINAL REGISTRY then they can't sell them one. Otherwise, it should be just like when the Army and Navy and every CO-OP and hardware store sold guns. In the USA where that is still the case, they have the lowest crime rates on the continent. Comments by The Phantom from Ontario - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Wednesday, March 08, 2006 at 18:54 Any of you boys 'n girls think maybe this security hole wasn't an accident? I mean, it sure took them long enough to get around to it eh? I bet Paulie Dithers told 'em to leave the door open, just to give him a chance to move on the gun ban. Thank God for the Conservatives. Shut it down NOW, replace it with a list of criminals, end of story. By the way, for all you FAC fans out there the FAC was a stealth registry. The RCMP quietly killed it back in the 1970's for budget reasons ('cause it was EXPENSIVE!), but the one and only purpose of the FAC was to create a list of every gun and owner in the country. No FACs please. Its your gun, you should be able to sell it if you want. Comments by LMG from Ontario - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Wednesday, March 08, 2006 at 15:56 I see the PRIVACY COMMISSIONER really gave a FLYING F*CK about the issue, WHAT A F*CKEN C*CK SUCKER. "The privacy commissioner actually responded that should anyone complain that they were targeted due to information gleaned from the CFRS database that they would investigate further," Has this arsehole been replaced yet? Comments by wolfgang from Canada - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Wednesday, March 08, 2006 at 15:44 PErsonally, I think that the latest big break-ins were done by cops encouraged by the Lieberals to do it. "Steal some guns, boys, and we'll have a reason to announce a confiscation". Comments by freedom fighter from Canada - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Wednesday, March 08, 2006 at 11:55 I agree guys. We should go back to the pre FAC days. A background check and maybe a firearm safety course is all a person in good standing should need to purchase any gun-either a handgun, long gun or assault weapon. Allow carry/conceal and for pete's sake allow citizens to carry pepper spray. I could never understand why that stuff is prohibited. Comments by Tommy from Alberta - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Wednesday, March 08, 2006 at 11:17 Is a pig's ass pork? ANY person working in the computer industry will tell you that "despite the best known current technology" ANY and EVERY computer system IN THE WORLD is vulnerable to SOME degree and anyone who says otherwise in lying, knows nothing on the subject, has someone else's interest in mind or is a plain FOOL. As with any type of "good guys VS. bad guys" scenario, the "bad guys" are ALWAYS one step ahead. "It's as secure as the police CPIC (database for criminals). Yeah Wendy, it was very "silly" to suggest such a thing... Comments by 375 H&H from Yukon - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 at 23:48 If all this is on the level, what are the Conservatives waiting for !!? Get rid of it, and put a criminal registry in its place that'll include all LIEberals that promoted this. Comments by Jim from Ontario - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 at 22:37 I would think that if it was hacked, maybe the CPC will bring this to light now that they have full access to everything. Garry, Stockwell and Vic just need to ask the right questions and get the info out. Comments by Vince from Alberta - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 at 22:17 And is STILL being hacked and sold and leaked by the LIbrals. Comments by B-DOPP from British Columbia - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 at 22:11 In BC the fools sold our medical data for a measely $100. I bet the registry data was hacked or sold years ago. Comments by Bayonet from Other - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 at 22:07 any type of paper trail when buying a firearm is just courting disaster.A piece of photo ID,and quick call for a back ground check(using your sin as a refrence)and it is either a thumbs up or a thumbs down.hell-if they want me to pay for the phone call then tack it on to the price of the gun. Comments by Ticked Ontarian from Ontario - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 at 21:50 270 and Arnie, I'm with you guys and basically you both said the same thing in different ways. That criminal registry should be plenty regardless of whether you're buying a shotgun, rifle, handgun or a bazooka. If your not a criminal then you should have the right to purchase any type of firearm. I liked the article that Dave mantioned in a previous posting. As for what's wrong with the poll.....I suspect you'l find that if you dump your cookies and files each time you could vote as many times as you want. Therefore all you'd need would be one or two antis to sit there for an hour to change the poll results. You could do a lot of votes in an hour, which makes the poll pretty useless. I cant remember what year that was, 1994? Comments by 270 from Saskatchewan - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 at 20:53 i say back to the pre f a c days. firearm safety course is fine but since criminals etc dont need licencing to get a gun why the hell should anyone else. licensing is a form of control and as we have seen over the last 25 years leads continuosly to more and tougher controls. Comments by wegottogoseperate from Saskatchewan - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 at 20:42 Back to the FAC, all we ever needed. Comments by YOUR FATHER from Canada - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 at 20:10 I guess we now know how all the guns are being stolen from guys with big gun collections. It is being hacked both from the inside and out. I say scap the whole thing. And start over with the laws before pre 1995. | ||||||||
