Posted on: Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 13:20 Double standards you people are so hypocritical ist funny. Its known fact that colors are 60% more likely to have there bail denied or revoked as someone of caucasian decent with the same or lessor charges. Sentencing times varies greatly between coaccused who are different races. This system is for the rich to serve the rich. You sit on land that has been under international law obtain by Illegal means (in court as we speak oh yeah plus 6 decades or more before), which is why their are over 800 land claims that canada, defends, prosecutes and judges themselves in, double standards yeah the poor white man oppressed by the dangerous natives. In international court Canada has and will lose all there cases against indian bands, thats why they want to "negotiate". For you to cry injustice, while your country was build on injustice shows your true hypocritical natures, you dont understand native issues because you dont want to, that would mean you would have to give up resources which where orignally handouts from natives to you, so whos giving handouts here, you pay redress to natives with money taken from resources that by some definitions in law are still unlawfully not yours(canadas) your taxes dont go to natives, do the research they pay for city serivces. Natives pay all taxes except on reserve, which there are no jobs our positive outlooks so far (only by a few). I can see where you blatant ignorance comes from though, i grew up in urban centers in Canada, as a status native, went to school my whole life, and no where have i ever seen a genocide of a people and a race so white washed to suit a shield of ethics you denfend youselves with. Your failure to recognize these problems or even address them because of the facts that "oh our ansectors did that, we never" shows your need to pick and choose what laws will suit your case and that you do not understand even your own laws. If i obtain property by illegal means from you, if you do not relinqish that properly legally or i obtain it in an unlawful manner and the parties are not the person who is legally allowed to negotiate on behalf of that persons or group, it is not legally mine, reguadless if i pass it on to my childrens children. But if it could be proven that the orginal owner never relinquished his legal rights to that property..... guess what, the whole country is in this situation. Natives have given up there lands, languanges, traditions, bloodlines and cultures at the hands of force assmilation so you can have a better life in Canada, what have you contributed besideds you idiotic racist rants. I am also native to this world so why do not have the same rights? because my skin is the same color as the politicians therefore I am supposed to agree with them?? ****** THAT the liberals and the conservatives are the same hybrid power mongrals WAKE UP Comments by Guy from British Columbia - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Wednesday, July 04, 2007 at 14:52 No mention of "armed" natives on the news I've been watching. Comments by Bayonet from Other - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Monday, July 02, 2007 at 19:31 Hey I wonder if a bunch of disgruntled veterans, who have been fu cked by the Canadian government for years gabbed their 303,s and donned their uniforms and blockaded a road in protest what are the chances that they would get shot- i would guess a hundred percent if they are all white and less if they were not Comments by dynacom from Other - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 18:19 SEEMS I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO REMEMBERS. Crazy Laws?? Comic books which depict illegal act are themselves illegal. You may not pay for a fifty-cent item with only pennies. In Alberta, if you are released from prison, it is required that you are given a handgun with bullets and a horse, so you can ride out of town. (This one might be a little outdated.) It’s illegal to climb trees. http://www.mentalfloss.com/blogs/archives/3882 - Horse Humor It’s the Law! Really! Over the centuries, laws have been developed to cover every conceivable situation, no matter how silly or petty it may seem. Some that were placed into effect years ago have never been reviewed or repealed, and are still on the statute books and are in effect, still the law. Many were written back it the times of the Wild West and before the advent of mechanized transportation. If these were the laws in your state, how many of them have you broken? In Kansas, all places of business are required to provide a water trough for horses. In Alabama, it is an offense to open an umbrella on the street. In California, it is against the law to pile horse manure more than six feet high on a street corner. In Texas it is against the law for anyone to drive a horse and buggy through the town square., but it is perfectly legal to ride your horse into a saloon. (Imagine doing that now at the Longhorn Steakhouse & Saloon.) In Arizona, you can get arrested if you ride your horse up the steps of the county court house. In Canada, laws state that anyone released from prison is to be provided with a horse, a gun, and some ammunition, so you may ride out of town. NOT SO CRAZY. In Pennsylvania, if a driver sees a horse-drawn carriage coming toward him, he must pull over, cover his car with a blanket so as to not frighten the horses, and allow them to pass. In Indiana and New Jersey, it is against the law for a car to pass a horse and carriage on the street. Also in Indiana, residents of the city can not ride their horses in excess of ten miles per hour. (Do they have speedometers on them?) In South Carolina, drivers of automobiles must stop 100 yards from an intersection and fire a shot into the air to warn horse traffic of their approach. Also in South Carolina, Railroad companies may be held liable for damages for any horse frightened as a result of the violation of the provisions of the General Railroad Law section by any of its employees.. In Kansas, all cars entering town must sound their horn to warn horse riders of their arrival. In Forest City, North Carolina, you are required to stop at the outskirts of town and call City Hall before entering, to allow the townsfolk to go outside and hold their horses while you drive through town. In Chapel Hill, NC it is illegal to urinate or defecate publicly. In Louisiana, horses may not be tied to a tree on a public highway. In Rhode Island, riding a horse over any public highway for the purpose of racing, or testing the speed of the horse is illegal. In Washington State, it is illegal for any person to ride an ugly horse. Comments by TICKED ALBERTAN from Alberta - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 17:44 I have seen copies of some treaties. They give the reserves x number of oxen and plows for so many ppl each year. poles and hides for tpees and medicine bags. Perhaps we should follow the treaties a little closer. Comments by Arnie from British Columbia - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 01:14 While the native leaders take all the money and live high on the hog, the rest of the reserve sitters drink and sniff gasoline. Billions are given to them and they seem to get worse off. Give them individual property to use as they see fit. If they sell it to buy booze, so be it. But Chief Louie in BC decided to get his tribe off their arsholes and from a bankrupt band of drunks ten years ago, they now have a 40 million dollar industry going. These bastards only want more handouts and are threatening with firearms to steal more from us, yet the police and politicians do nothing about armed threats by thugs! Yet let a few white property owners do the same thing and they would be maced or tasered or shot by swat teams. And the media would support it. Jail these thugs and the media would be all over the police. Indian thugs can get away with anything it seems. And Mark, if you stood in the middle of the main highway into Moronto with a gun you would be mowed down by hundreds of swat snipers. In a heartbeat. Don't be so naive. Comments by Oldman from Ontario - Southern - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Friday, June 29, 2007 at 19:49 Native terrorists can shut down Hiways and railroads , threaten they'll use weapons if they have to , We step outside with a BB gun and the whole fukin OPP swat team complete with helicopters and dogs come a running . Declare the whole thing a high risk stand off ,lay weapons charges , haul our ass off to jail, slap each other on the back for a job well done . Hmmm whats wrong with this picture ? Comments by freedom fighter from Alberta - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Friday, June 29, 2007 at 19:40 Incidents where honest citizens become criminals for using firearms to defend their property and loved ones will become more frequent.Just one more reason I'm seriously comtemplating becoming an American. The other day down in Red Deer a man who defended his land with a chainsaw was brought up on weapons charges by the RCMP.What a joke. All I'll say is the CPC better start cleaning up 40 years of liberal mess if they get a majority. And Mark, you're so right. Our politicians have gotten so far away from the fundamentals they consider us their servants and not the other way around.Remember, all dictatorships begin with the disarming of the masses. Comments by Mark from British Columbia - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Friday, June 29, 2007 at 18:00 The Serbians hate the Albanians, the Sunnis hate the Shiites, the Hutus hate the Tutsis and Canadians hate the Natives. What a world... Comments by Reality from British Columbia - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Friday, June 29, 2007 at 17:47 Disarm the populace and you have them under your thumb! Comments by zippy from Ontario - Southern - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Friday, June 29, 2007 at 17:01 the easiest way to end these bullsh-t blockades is to remind the so called natives, it's the end of the month and thier welfare checks are waiting for them! Comments by Mark from British Columbia - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Friday, June 29, 2007 at 16:12 It is illegal to use a gun to defend property in Canada. You can do that in the states but not here. A few years back, a Brinks guard in Vancouver shot and killed a suspect as he was running away with the money. He had slashed the guard with a knife. There was a big trial and the guard was not convicted. I think the defense said that the robber had reached into his shirt and turned so the guard feared for his life. I don`t blame the people for shooting at the thieves. The law should be changed here but we all know Liberal Canada where the criminals are not held accountable. Comments by daproof is daproof from Nova Scotia - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Friday, June 29, 2007 at 14:25 Hell it should be illegal for you to lock your door. A thief might get hurt breaking in. Comments by NORBERT from Manitoba - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Friday, June 29, 2007 at 14:22 Double standard??? Nah! Thu Jun 28 2007 A Carberry-area man and woman face charges after shots were fired at would-be thieves who had targeted their all-terrain vehicle. Reports Tuesday of shots fired prompted the RCMP's Winnipeg-based Emergency Response Team to respond to the area. A 43-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were arrested at about 4 p.m. Tuesday after police received a complaint earlier that morning about gunfire southeast of Carberry, said RCMP spokesman Cpl. Chris Ballard. "There was no real standoff, I don't think," Ballard said. "Once contact was made between police and the people that were arrested, everything ended peacefully at that point." Carberry RCMP have released few details about the incident but Ballard said the pair were arrested because they "committed some kind of firearms-related offence." There was no word yesterday of specific charges. Ballard said it appears from the preliminary investigation that the suspects were shooting at people who were trying to steal an all-terrain vehicle. Comments by Mark from British Columbia - (Report Post - RP) Posted on: Friday, June 29, 2007 at 13:55 Oka was a turning point for the natives. Again, more problems from Quebec. I sympathize with the natives. The Quebec police and government created this crisis over a golf course expansion. Then they sent in 2500 federal soldiers. Quebec is one of the main causes of trouble in this country and one of the main reasons behind C-68. Oka was another example of how the Quebec and Canadian Government bullies and mis-treats citizens it disagrees with. Oka should be a good lesson for gun owners. They would send the army after innocent gun owners too. The Mohawks stood up to this crap and were willing to die for what they believed in. | |||
