MY NEW TRUCK

MY NEW TRUCK

I bought a new Chevy Avalanche and returned to the dealer yesterday because I couldn't get the radio to work.

The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated.

'Nelson,' the salesman said to the radio. The radio replied, 'Ricky or Willie?'

'Willie!' he continued and 'On The Road Again' came from the speakers.

Then he said, 'Ray Charles!', and in an instant 'Georgia On My Mind' replaced Willie Nelson.
I drove away happy, and for the next few days, every time I'd say, 'Beethoven,' I'd get beautiful classical music, and if I said, 'Beatles,' I'd get one of their awesome songs.

Yesterday, some guy ran a red light and nearly creamed my new truck, but I swerved in time to avoid him. I yelled, 'Ass Hole!'  Immediately the radio responded with, "Ladies and gentlemen, the leader of the federal Liberal party, Michael Ignatieff"

Damn I love this truck...

Twas the night before xmas
And all through the house
We was all hammered,
Even the mouse.
Mom at the strip club,
And Dad drinking beer,
The whole gang feeling that
Good xmas cheer.
When out on the lawn
i heard such a clatter
I sprung from my bed
To see what's the matter.
Then out on the lawn
I saw a big p--ck,
I knew in a moment
It must be st Nick.
He came down the chimney
Like a bat out of hell,
I knew in a moment
The bastard had fell.
He filled our stockings
With pretzel and beer,
And a Playboy pinup
Which he unfurled with a leer.
Then he rose up the chimney
With a thunderous fart,
He nearly blew
The whole chimney apart.
He belched and he swore
As he rode out of sight :
" I told you Rudolph
Turn off that damn light ."
Wait a moment, I'm sure i have the original lyrics around here somewhere.

If it's to be government approved, it can't be called Christmas. I'm no Christian, but it's traditional so what the heck, I still call it Christmas. I even was Santa for two weekends at Zellers. I did write Xmas on a donation receipt at the local Knights of Columbus Hamper Fund and got called on it by one of my former clients who is the head of the fund and who talked me into helping- had loads of fun and it makes one feel good about helping others. Was chair of the United Way at one time in my career.
Have a good one everybody- don't forget Bruce Montague is having his appeal heard early next year, so he'll need all the support he can get.
Let's hope that 2010 marks the end of the registration fiasco. Lots to be thankful for and way more to hope for. Glad to Harper stiffed those crooks in Copenhagen

Dodge for me too Prairie Dog . At least the older models , as the newest could be plastic and tinsel for all I really know .
Here's a stocking stuffer idea for the kid . Daisy Red Ryder air rifle . Just make sure it's the 300 feet per second variety . Much faster and you'll need to take a government safety course for $ 100 - $200 dollars , get your PAL for more money yet , then get junior a safety course ( govt. approved , of course ) and his very own PAL to take with him wherever he goes . You may also feel obliged , by subtle government reminders to get your boy's new BB gun registered too . Don't let him go out and be normal , shooting gophers and mice with it , or you may have PETA breathing down your neck .
Have a safe , government approved Christmas .

What gets me is the way the gun controllers act as though they are innocent and have done nothing wrong when in fact they attacked law abiding gun owners with the draconian and harsh gun control act. They mounted a campaign of dis-information and vitriole aimed at gun owners and used threats of prison sentences to force citizens to comply. Now they act like nothing bad happened and as though they are just simple caring people. They exploit tragic incidents and use the victims to envoke emotional images of pain and suffering with guns and gun owners as the cause.Meanwhile, they wonder why citizens who own guns don`t want to play their dirty little games with them. Sickening.

Yeah guys, I got an 07 Canyon and I know my next truck will be an F-150. GM&Chrysler made a deal with the White House Hitlerite.
A more positive thought, got a buddy with a gun store who is being audited right now by the RCMP.
If you read between the lines, we think McDinky
must know that the days of the registry are just about over so he`s trying to give us one last screwing over before he`s booted from office in the next election.

I DRIVE an 86 gmc, 305 4 bbl, auto, 225000 km on it, factory cassette plater still works. funny, all the natives around here, drive new 4x4's, I got the rusty chev pickup. least it can still be repaired easy, parts are reasonable.

Chev and GMC trucks used to be pretty good . My personal favorite was early '80's 1/2 ton full length pickups. Plain Janes with full length bench sets , automatic , using 350 V8 engines . Good fuel economy on the highway , and great power for those occasional moments when you just need to get away from it all .

Bayonet, I swear...I been driving chevy's all my life. There's an 09 F150 in my driveway now. And ya know what? I should have known too...when i was a kid I remember a local Ford dealership giving away a brand new 30-30 with every new truck. Seems like they knew what was important back then too! lol ;-)

it's the wrapping that counts .

PAL is pretty deceitful, since the Firearms Act that legally forces people to comply ALSO negates ones rights/freedom, and POSESSION of their guns...once it expires, you get a call, renew, or, turn em in for destruction. not much of a PAL, except to the antigun creeps.

So I guess " Turd " will activate an archived speech by Turdo , patron saint of Liberal assholes.
And revered forefather of PAL , i might well add.
Why the hell do they call it a PAL ? All my pals are good hunting friends of mine , not little useless pieces of paper to carry around in my wallet in case the gestapo questions me. Only in Canada.
