New Brunswick shuts down back door registry

Friday, June 01, 2012 at 20:17

OTTAWA - New Brunswick has shot down rules that forced gun shops to register the sale of unrestricted firearms in paper ledgers.

"Our government is aligning our approach on firearms, to be consistent with the spirit and intent of federal Bill C-19, which eliminated the long-gun registry," said provincial Public Safety Minister Robert Trevors in a statement. "Effective immediately, firearms dealers will no longer be required to record purchase information on long-guns."

2nd person: That's great! So, what's the soup?

the LEFTIES love to discourage protest by any means. MANY said, "the Long Gun Registry" will NEVER be gone. Well, despite howling and whining ad nauseum by the left, by gum, the LGR IS DEAD. this is progress, however hard won, the thing is, not to lose momentum, and press for further improvements. Despite these horrible gun laws, and their potential for abominable horrors to come, CANADA is STILL the best country on earth to live in. period. why you think all those immigrants keep coming here form everywhere else? the bizarre irony, CANADIANS tourist off to holiday in other countries! THIS COUNTRY POSSESSES MORE RAW BEAUTY THAN ANY OTHER PLACE IN THE WORLD.

Yeah, I'm going to give this country till about the time I'm 40 then if nothing has changed, I'm immigrating to another country. Won't be the US, but perhaps somewhere in Eastern Europe. You're right, not a ******ing thing has changed. LGR was a small step but if nothing else changes, what's the point of staying in N. America? No appeal process? Everybody gets an appeal in a court of law. Personally, if people like us cannot change people's ways of thinking, perhaps we should all move away in protest to what our governments are doing. It's tough to learn another language and adjust to another culture, but lots of people do it. Anyway, we'll just see what happens.

It may not seem like it, but this has been happening in ev-er-y province, state & country while media keeps you distracted/confused. Just today CBC did a bit making it sound horrible someone should grow pot (with a license) without inspections. In reality the horrible thing is that someone needs a license to grow something; but that's how they do it - suck you in - raise opposition - come in with another solution. In this (like every other) case they already have a solution ready, order it from Guv't who'll have industrial/commercial pot farms. Everybody happy?

IT is like a BAD DREAM, Freedom Fighter, a nightmare that you cant wake up from, history is set to repeat itself, the worst parts of it, depending on ONLY ONE THING. Could we inform the masses, They need a reality check, The video production, "INNOCENTS BETRAYED" can be viewed on YOU TUBE for free, it has a very strong message, and makes clear connection between seemingly 'reasonable' limitations on freedom, like, LICENSING of gun owners, "gun control" in general, preceeds confiscation, futher encroachments, more onerous requirements, bans, restrictions, prohibitions, criminalization, citizen disarmament and eventually...genocide. HOW can the general public be so apathetic. Obviously, disarmed enemies of nazi Germany were made easy for rounding up, and extermination. The Germans had GUNS, obviously, and their enemies did NOT. RWANDA proved this once more.what a simple, diabolical, and f.u.c.k.e.d. up recipe FOR DISASTER. a bit of INFORMATION alone could change this anti-gun prejudiced direction. When I spoke with Sheldon Clare, he asked if I felt any releif, given the end of the Long Gun Registry. It truly makes NO appreciable difference, as all citizen possession of Firearms in Canada is a "CRIMINAL ACTIVITY" the PAL license being temporary permission to "use guns" any revocation/cancellation, confiscation follows. No. Matter.how.arbitrary.the revocation/cancellation. may.be. There is NO APPEAL PROCESS, the CFO's remain in position to do as they please, zero accountability, and, they are no strangers to harrassment of honest gun owners. Randy Kuntz admitted that police officers would go through the obituaries in the newspapers, and do confiscation runs on WIDOWS of gun owners. despite POL/PAL of the deceased, or the fact that executors may legally retain possession of family guns for disbursement. This was revealed in Committeee hearing in the house of commons. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY, open season on gun owners, easy pickins for cops wishing to score brownie points, maybe promotions follow? No, I feel no releif whatsoever. The rogue CFO's were NOT held accountable. however, honest retaillers were harassed, honest gun buyers were harassed, and thats the only people who will EVER be inconvenienced by these douche-a-bag gun laws, as per the C.C.of C.(firearms act)...on it goes.

It's hard to believe GF, but we could truly be headed towards some rough times. I don't believe that Baird will sign on to this, given that the CPC just repealed Canada's LGR. It would be political suicide. Anyhow, I wonder if the day will ever come that UN troops will patrol American and Canadian cities. We really need to get the HELL out of the UN and right now. I, for one, will fight to the last drop to defend my freedoms.

Foreign Affairs minister John Baird and delegates have headed off to the UN conference, where they will be expected to endorse the UN's Arms Trade Treaty. this is, an INTERNATIONAL gun registry, its aim is to disarm all non-government actors, by making sales or any arms illegal, (CITIZENS are NON-GOV.ACTORS) I spoke with Sheldon Clare the other day, when I bumped into him in the Save On Foods. He said that he is "off to the UN tomorrow" I requested that he kick butt while there. The delegates and F.A.M. John Baird will be expected to also sign on with agenda 21, an effort to eliminate the middle class alltogether, as the elites detest regular folks having internet, electricity, air conditioning, transportation, firearms, quality of life. They see our existence as unsustainable, and agenda 21 is really all about revoking any right to own property, they perceive land and land use being too important to be in private hands, the empire builing bureaucrats at the UN wish to usurp Canadian sovereignity and democracy, they wish to rule over land use and management worldwide. I wrote John Baird, asking him to NOT support this "global domination abomination" .....by the way, the NDP/GREEN/LIBERALS allready signed on for agenda 21. as well as the Arms Trade Treaty.

The hardcore lufa supporters have seemingly faded away or died off? the silent majority of gun owners who have not complied, are keeping a very low profile. What will it take, to get the Conservatives to further mend the gun laws, or completely repeal the Firearms Act, Bill C-68, I sure dont know. Worthy additions Gun Freak. By the way, the only thing good I've ever really seen the CBC do, and this is by no means an attempt to defend those blighters, was to come to Alex Jones' defense when he was victimized for 24 hours by the border customs cops at the ottawa airport. And then only because he was a fellow journalist and they planned to interview him. The immigration officials had detained him at that point for 15 hours at the behest of the Bilderberg group ( yeah you can read UN into that bunch of you know whats ) trying all that time to find any pornography at all on his three computers so they could permanently deport him if not charge him criminally. After the CBC got there the immigration bastards were profusely apologetic to Jones and let him go on to the Ottawa Bilderberg conference where he loudly bullhorned the conniving world gummyment wannabees from outside their hotel . U could view it on YouTube with , let me take a wild flying guess, Alex Jones bullhorns Canadian Bilderberg conference. You can see why i got no freinds.
My faith makes me stronger, how about YOU? WE collectively need to cultivate more freinds in Parliament. Went to a "meet and Greet with My MP Bob Zimmer to-day, met Lynn Yelich. Shes a minister "of sustainable northern development" who the hell comes up with these titles? Anyway. MP Zimmer has concerns about arbitrary gun reclassifications and confiscations, and property rights. He didnt know much about Bruce Montague. I explained how a woman who murdered her two children got lesser prison time than Bruce, and how the Ontario Prov gub. tried to extort $50 grand from the Montague's, so's they can live in their own house.... I plainly described the fact that the CFO's are ignorant to honest gun owners, their "LEDGER" action speaks to this, any arbitrary suspension or cancellation of a POL/PAL leaves one with NO appeal process, and that some 3 MILLION Canadians remain outside the current licensing system, STILL. wtf. have to try, right? I also told this story. when my FAC expired in 1992, I applied for a new one..the price increased $500 %! also, way more HOOPS. at any rate, Frank Oberle's assistant looked into WHY my FAC was taking so long to be processed, 7 months had passed, NO FAC. She got back to me about a week later. she said, "dont inquire about your FAC, whatever you do, because when I did, the firearms officer asked who the complainant was, he WOULD MAKE SURE THAT THE COMPLAINANT WOULD NEVER GET HIS FAC!" true story folks. This piss-poor attitude towards gun owners aint new, and it has gotten WORSE.

Glad you know you're Bible ( waxed, Er had a DYNACOM to wax weird., nothing new under the sun ) (Ecclesiastes 1:9 )
I don't use all caps - sorta because: If We Only Had a Brain ( www.federalobserver.com/print.php?aid=6053 )
&
I agree with most of hello's post though I'd expound on some of the facts. - even the psyop history article is a psyop pretending it is not used on us - the media people come out of the education industrial complex also - e.g. I saw that cutie (married) Amanda Lang this week say (something like this) I think we should give some money to the IMF to show the EU we're with them. OK. Let me say, I'm not with you Amanda Lang even though we're in the same country; you are free however to give all or a portion of your money to the IMF or whoever you'd like in the spirit of freedom but don't sign me up. She is a product of the FOOL SYSTEM aka education industrial complex as per hello. Death to the CBC.
&
Since you opened the Bible (which I appreciate since Western Civilization has gone Apostate) I'd like to say without my previous FEAKING OUT
position, my simple concern now for everone is Matthew 24:21 which will be the END of nothing new under the sun.
Still there are a couple of verses which are to a point exactly where we are at:
Ezekiel 22:25- ( this is proof that freedom does NOT come from government / authority )
1Samuel 13:21 ( this is like asking permission to transport or protect yourself )
Esther 3:13 ( because of Esther 3:8 )
&
NOW
Back to my previous thing: 9/11 Truth - Hollywood Speaks Out
The latest is Ed Asner referred to these groups and their followers as "bobbleheads" who supporters of AE911Truth must endure in order to get their message out ot the public. ( http://digitaljournal.com/article/325764 ) ....SOUNDS A LOT LIKE LUFA FOLKS.
& FINALLY
Matthew 24:22 is the end, and it's at the door, and don't rely on your churchies, they give tax receipts because they're UNDER the government.

SUN NEWS has been consistent on the gun law issue, Solomon Frieman at firearmslaw.ca has some very accurate reporting, like you will never see on CBC or the rest of the echo chamber media inbreds. Lorne Gunter is featured on sun news often about this issue, Lawyer Ed Burlew as well. The scofflaw CFO's brazen contempt for parliament, democracy, and the will of Canadians should well be clear enough indication of the prejudice and hatred that honest gun owners face everyday from within the bureaucracy. This MUST signal a dire need for change, yes? I for one, would really like to not be regarded as or treated as a criminal, by the courts, the media, the government, the judges, police, and the majority of uninformed ignorant mean-spirited anti-gun freedom haters.

Here's something for fellow tin foil hat wearers.
It might help in understanding why family and neighbors give you a hard time instead of sticking their necks out even enough to research what's going on. Might help explain how Alberta got a Redford who's first order of business was to get her marching orders from Bilderberg like Harper and others.
The media is their # 1 tool for mind control: one example - tv dancing shows - idol - dribble; the contestants are talented in their own right by the way and don't need media hoe hosts telling them telling their worth. To finish on this one example you'll note only a few of the American Idol WINNERS really ended up with extra successful careers. Perhaps Turdomania#2 will finally prompt Western Canada to leave Confederation. I am not so sure if Justin Trudeau will ever be PM. Who would vote for him? Perhaps some younger people, but you have to remember, his father was PM during an entire different time in history. Canada (and indeed the world) was a much different place in 1970 than it is today. Many of the people who voted for PET back in the 70s and early 80s are CPC supporters today. Trudeau's legacy has stained this nation: unchecked immigration, abortion, loose morals, the list goes on. This is not the free going 1960s and 1970s and we cannot recreate them. Any more liberalism and Canada will cease to exist. Also, back 40+ years ago, the Baby Boomers were starting to vote and begin careers. The country had no debt. In the year 2012, the world could be on the verge of another world conflict, most western nations are in the hole financially. In Canada, Quebec is the equivalent of Greece. There are not nearly as many young Canadians as there were when PET became PM. So, unless Justin has a totally different vision than his old man had, I just don't think it would work having him as PM. Personally, I think the Liberal Party of Canada is finished. They may eventually merge with the NDP so we should be fairly safe with the CPC for next couple of elections.

Bizarrely, the local authority instead suggested playing a recording of a starting pistol on an iPod before agreeing to let Mr Bell start the races by sounding a klaxon.
Parents of the children, who attend Gartocharn Primary School in Dunbartonshire, yesterday (sun) accused the council of “tying themselves in knots” over “ridiculous” health and safety rules.
Mr Bell, who has started more than 25,000 races during his 36-year career, was set to use the same pistol that will start the 100m final at this summer’s Olympics. He famously false-started Usain Bolt in last year’s athletics World Championships.
It is understood he has relatives who live near the affluent village on the banks of Loch Lomond and agreed to help out. The 61-year-old had previously officiated at hundreds of primary school events.

One parent, who did not wish to be named, told a Sunday newspaper: “It was ridiculous. We were told that the children would be distressed by Mr Bell firing his starting pistol.
“Anyone who believes they would be frightened by a starting pistol has never experienced the noise at a typical three-year-old’s birthday party.
“The council tied themselves in knots trying to sort this out. One solution they came up with was to play a recording of a starting pistol on an iPod so the gun would not actually be fired on school grounds.”
Norman Gardiner, president of the Pitreavie Amateur Athletics Club in Dunfermline, said the decision was “health and safety gone mad.”
He said: “In the open on a school playing field, it would not have been frightening. It would have been a unique experience for the kids.”
But a spokesman for West Dunbartonshire Council said: “A klaxon was used because it was felt that a gunshot might frighten some of the nursery children. The event was still a huge success.”
Mr Bell, who is from Carlisle in Cumbria, declined to comment.

Way to go TH. That's how one regenerates flagging interest on a forum which frequently stays without a new headline for as long as a month ! Eventually the patter peters out , naturally .
Now then - as for Turdo # 2 , all i really know about that manipulating malarky is this: when the UN powers behind the Kanuckistan throne (yeah, u read my firm belief correctly) want to start schilling for another liberal PM, using their global gummyment complicit pollsters, they start by showing his "fighting" prowess. For instance, remember that thug Creepin being portrayed as a streetfighter for strangling some pathetic little professional protester? Turdo #1 fought off backstage rushers once, so his having taken Judo was flayed ad nauseum. Turdo #2 was recently matched up against another non-fighter to display Turdo's mastery of self defense (I further urged). Yikes !!! This could become some college hack's bloody thesis !
At the end of the day, all i really want to know is this : CAN HE SHOOT ???

ANGUS REID has never been an ubiased balanced source for polling. Now, if David Colleto of Abacus Data polling produced this, it would have merit. Another Turdo. This country could not survive it. We still are paying for his fathers lack of vision. The Charter falls short of basic human rights like property ownership rights. for starters.

Trudeaumania Part deux: New poll suggests Trudeau would be PM if he was Liberal leader!!!

He's never led a political party, he's never been a cabinet minister, and he says he doesn't even want the job — but Canadians seem ready to anoint Justin Trudeau our next prime minister.
According to a new Angus Reid poll released Monday, if Trudeau became the leader of the Liberals he would catapult the party from third place to first place virtually overnight.
A Liberal Party led by Pierre Trudeau's son would become the national frontrunner (40 per cent), with substantial leads over Stephen Harper's Conservatives (30 per cent) and Tom Mulcair's NDP (21 per cent).
In a recent column for Sun News, Liberal insider Warren Kinsella outlined 10 reasons why Trudeau would be a popular choice for Canadians.
Here are a few of them:
- He's the only likely leadership candidate with a proven appeal to young people, women and new Canadians
- He's got more charisma than the royal family and Lady Gaga combined. In Ottawa, which is Hollywood for ugly people, that matters. On the election hustings, when measured against Trudeau, Stephen Harper and Thomas Mulcair will look like Angry Old Guys.
- He's got regional appeal. Some westerners will hiss that he carries the burden of his dad's [National Energy Policy], for example, but they aren't the westerners who have ever voted Liberal. There's still enough of a Liberal plurality across Canada to secure successive majorities -- as his dad did, as Chretien did.
- To New Democratic voters, Trudeau will look like much more of a progressive than Mulcair.
- He's got great hair.
In 1968, Justin's father — Pierre Elliott Trudeau — ran to become Canada's prime minister and brought youthfulness and a promise of change.
As CBC News describes it , the senior Trudeau "became a political pop star, attracting admirers whose dedication rivaled that of Beatles fans."
Canada called it 'Trudeaumania.'
Is this 'Trudeaumania' part 2? It sure likes it.
Poll Methodology: From June 15 to June 16, 2012, Angus Reid Public Opinion conducted an online survey among 1,500 randomly selected Canadian adults who are Angus Reid Forum panellists. The margin of error—which measures sampling variability—is +/- 2.5%, 19 times out of 20. The results have been statistically weighted according to the most current education, age, gender and region Census data to ensure a sample representative of the entire adult population of Canada.

HOPE-FULLY, freedom, in the future, we can get some repreive from this anti gun brainwashing. The MSM shut out Bruce Montague story, they would rather blather on about Maher Arar and Omar Khadr. Sun Media is making a difference, it could not happen fast enough! Some American media outlets are noticing, This past week I saw Solomon Friedman, Ed Berlew, on sun news, quotes from Tony Bernardo of CSSA and from the NFA were featured. If more folks would subscribe to sun news, that might help. Ontario is up to the usual "premeir dad" BS, as if everyone who has licensed was not somehow "properly licensed" what that means, is DISARMED, only that would make those chitheads happy.

Well, Canada's First Nations people, who were treated horribly for 100s of years, were able to take governments to court and won large settlements. So were people in Alberta rendered unable to have kids because of the province's outdated sexual sterilization laws. It's possible, maybe not now, but down the road. Public attitudes change over time. No, instead of using up all of our energy going after Cretin and Rock, why not lobby to get Canada the hell out of the UN? It's about time we did. The UN is a useless organization that seeks to bring in a one world dictatorship, as prophesized in the Book of Revelation. I am thinking of writing a letter to Larry Miller, who is an advocate of such action. This could become a very successful movement if enough people stay the course.

many have THOUGHT of taking these anti-gun douce bags to court, however....the courts are stacked with liberal appointed judges. look what happened to Bruce Montague. He got more jail time than a woman who drowned her own kids. The Ontario Provincial Government is still confiscating the family home. They tried to extort $50 thousand from the Montague family, to "let" them stay in their own home. There is a lot of legal protection afforded those in public positions. A perverbial "get out of jail free card" except, the guilty in those positions wont ever see the inside of the crowbar hotel in the first place. I know a guy who TRIEd to take Allan Rock to court, he was not permitted to lay charges, It was said to be "a political matter" the guy who could not place charges was a retired VPD fraud cop. deep pockets and a knowledge of the law is not enough. apparently.

What about bringing personal suit to them for instigating such obvious and long lasting national disunity, through consorting with malevolent foreign influences, and leaving deep scarring on Canada's social fabric?

the LIB-TARDS are gearing up to showcase Turdo "junior" as leader of that party. Mulcair's air headed-ness likely will push lefty voters back to the liberal party. Stephen Harpers omnibus bill is causing some fallout, why Western Canadians have to work till age 67 to retire, meanwhile, Quebeccers retire AT AGE 62! so, we get to pay for the frog early retirement. this is severely screwed up. Why couldnt Stephen Harper's balls drop, in gun owners favor, and scrap AALLL the LIBERAL anti-gun law, Bill C-68, as originally promised, instead of bill C-38, make us pay for quebecs entitlements? WE ELECTED the Conservatives, NOT QUEBEC. If the Conservatives included adjusting retirement age in their platform, guess what. they wouldnt be the party in power, hard working Canadians paid into CPP all their lives, government kept dipping into those monies, meanwhile they fund foreign aid, the UN, CBC, and the vile gun laws. retarded, rediculous.

If only handguns were banned in Canuckistan, these tragedies wouldn't happen. Fortunately, the majority of the poll was against such a measure. When Men owned Farms ,them and their Boys worked the Farm together ,all day, all year, until the Boys were grown and got a Piece of the farm, and then they still were with their dads alot of the time, helping out their old Mom and Dad.
Won't turn them Gay,i'd say just the opposite.
And if the Fathers a Good Man, the sons will learn an awful lot about being a Good man too.
I worked outside the Home for many years before i too developed health problems that limited my ability to work fulltime,so i work at at a home based business, and my wife works as a Nanny, and between the 2 of us we've still got low income, but good enough.
Live very frugally, thrift stores for almost everything but food, make our own bread etc., and don't waste money foolishly.
Imagine though how much we'd all have if we wern't taxed at 60% of income, and 12% at the stores, and ? at the gas pumps..
Some taxes are necessary alright, but Government doesn't have to be frugal like us, they have a continual source of income .

GF, I believe one of the many reasons why men become gay is because they do not have a strong male presence in their life growing up. I do have friends who are gay and some have told me that they didn't know their dads growing up, were raised by single mothers. No, a child needs a mom and dad, the mother for nurturing and compassion, the dad for discipline and teaching life skills. This topic is related to our struggle. I believe we do need to get Canada the HELL out of the UN. No Agenda 21, UN Convention of the Rights of the Child (taking responsibilities away from the parents), carbon tax or disarmament. The UN is a sick joke that only tyrants should belong to.

you are right, of course ff. theres more...I was stay at home dad. raised 3 sons, from the time my oldest was 6 months old. I had a home base business, sign painting, and morphed into tattooing as well, as time went on. I can tell you the PRESSURE i faced, from "freinds and family" I wanted to be the stay at home parent. My wife wanted to work. I beleive it was the most important job a human being can have, and so I enjoyed the opportunity immensely. I juggled my business, kids, part time job, and a debilitating illness. I could hardly have worked a full time job, for this illnesss, and doubt I could have made enough money anyway, to cover daycare for 3! the downside was the flack. family was "traditional" and refused to accept or be supportive. the barrage was unrelenting, finally escalating to the point I finally severed all contact with the miserable sons of bitches. some "freinds" informed me that I was "******ing up" bigtime, that my sons would grow up to be queers if raised by their dad. My side-point is this, there are many, way too many roadblocks and hurdles to parenting, they dont all come from without. I admit my own dismay at the gauntlet of abuse and scrutiny from "family and freinds" my sons are happy healthy adults, employed, seeking carreers and family of their own. ok, the oldest is cranky, but none of them are gay, criminals druggies or slackers. It would be great if government would stay out of the way, if at least they cant be supportive of families, and the same goes for "family and freinds"...by the way, ****** those, all those, ******en ******ers. im only a little angry.

I would also like to add that over the past 3 - 4 decades, the powers - that - be have been taxing the middle class out of existance. Try living in any Canadian (or American) city today and raising a family on one income. It's next to impossible. Yet, socialist governments are all too happy to institute "free" childcare so that parents (who have to work their asses off to pay for this entire system) can let the State raise their children for them. This, IMHO, is another attack on the institution of the family. The communists want to totally obliterate the family unit. In BC and Morontario, the preschool curriculum includes teaching children that homosexuality is a normal lifestyle. Children are also being taught to basically spy on their parents (report anything suspicious to CAS) like what happened to poor Jesse Sansome. Because of high taxes, corporate welfare, too many people sitting around not working, the middle class is left holding the bag. More parents would like to stay home with their children, but until we get governments who will actually implement pro - family policies and get as many people as possible off of welfare and into jobs, this will continue.

The UN also wants people out of their cars, and onto bikes, canoes, and walking (i wonder if they'll bring back hoers and buggies, we can all drive hoers drawn carts like the mennonite folks). Did you know that there is still a law in Calgary, yahoo- the 100th centennial of the Stampede is just around the corner, that you can only pee on the left side of ur horse. I guess because that's the side you dismount on. A HUGE $5.00 fine for peeing on the right side outside of the local canteen. True !
They also want to herd us ALL into high density cities, so's the countryside can be left pristine, and free of we human cockroaches. Not making a single little eensy, teensy tiny bit of this up. Look the abominable thing up, jasper.

The middle class are the backbone of democratic capitalism, and a bulwark against Communism.
The middle class are solid patriotic hardworking citizens, who allow successful democracys to exist through their taxes and family values.
Destroy the middle class, and you have only Rich and Poor,a breeding ground for Leftist idealogy to take hold, which is what the Leftist agenda is working toward.

My conclusion is, that there's none better than Canada, all around, for Freedom, and Happy friendly hardworking people.
Finland has the 2nd highest population of Gunowners per capita to America and Gun Ownership is relatively easy, much like America.
I still prefer to live in Canada though, since i have other reasons to like Canada over any other Place.
Gun Ownership, if it's the most important issue for you right now, means America to me,Finland is a Drab Cold Country with Stoic Reserved People, even though you can own a Firearm there fairly easily,i'd go to the U.S. first.

Freedom Fighter,
I was in your position 15 years ago,i found a wife overseas in Scotland, she's a wonderful woman, hates Femminisim, she is no doormat though, just believes her role in life is as a wife and mother.
We've talked about moving to America ,but America is not what it was once when i lived there 20 years ago ,while attending college.
Canada, with Harpers conservatives in government, has, other than our Gun Laws , more promise of Freedom than the U.S.A right now.
I've traveled extensively, and Canada is a beautiful country, with a lot of great friendly people.
If you are that concerned with owning firearms,America is the ticket, but other than that, i don't see any advantage to moving South of the border,at least not now.
You are relatively young, but time will slip away if you ponder your options too long.
There's really nowhere ,and i've looked ,believe me,that is any free'er than Canada, all round.
Melbourne Australia has Beautiful beaches, Warm weather,Beautiful Women, who are not as femminist oriented as here, and lots of potential for work .
I have relatives who've been living there over 20 years now, and love it.
That would be my first choice other than Canada ,as long as firearm issues arn't going to be a problem for you, since Oz gunlaws are much like Canadas in that regard.

You know it Survival. I am 34, caucasian, single, heterosexual Christian male. I am college educated and have worked at a variety of jobs since graduating from high school 15 years ago. While Canada is a beautifal country with great people, I've finding more and more that it's becoming a country for the elite and not the little guys like you and I. We are taxed to death here, our immigration system encourages older immigrants who contribute nothing to the Canadian economy. The worst part is, at my age, it is getting increasingly hard to find a good woman who I can settle down with. I'm meeting many single mothers now who, even if I really get to like one of them, will always put their kids first. Many were raised in dysfunctional families themselves. Sadly Canada (as well as a host of other former white Christian countries) may never return to its roots. I will be graduating from college next year and I have looked for a good job in my field - very hard to find. There isn't much in the Maritimes, Ontario is broke and I'm not really sure if I'd want to settle permanently in Alberta. Lived there for 3 years. Anyway, I got an email from Cheryl Gallant. She was praising the fact that the CPC scrapped the LGR but said the requirement of licensing was the same as that for vehicle licensing. WTF!? It's not even close. Anyway, if Canada can't change and I'm not able to find stable employment here, thinking of immigrating somewhere myself. Not sure where. Probably won't be the US as they are in worse shape than we are at the moment.

They gave cash awards to the mothers who had the most children, they recognized the power in reproducing their Race, as a greater economic political, cultural, and armed force for their way of life .
The Muslims know that too,i have seen a video on youtube of an Imam saying that that Muslims will be able to take over our countrys just by multiplying faster, and voting in their people to make policy,or if democracy doesn't work for them, taking over by force, when they have a large enough population.
Europeons, and People of Europeon Anscestry need to start a baby boom, and Stop immigration, in order for our way of life to survive.

Hey Trucker, do you need someone to carry your suitcase? I mean, if New Brunswick sheds the Full Monty on all the unnecessary Firearms Act? Sorry Alberta, but if that ever happened I think this province would see a fairly large exodus of fed up firearms enthusiasts. I for one am beginning to have gnawing doubts about the good sense of the Alberta electorate.

In Prince George BC, they love to quack on TV and radio about a surging economy, and a lack of people to fill vacant job positions. A freind from Nova Scotia stayed here 11 months, applying everywhere, and could not get a job. Then they media quack about importing immigrant workers. wtf. wtf indeed. BS to the extreme. who are they trying to kid. My middle son has 2 kids. that is a huge family these days. there definitely should be less tax taken from young families. They have this child tax credit thing, but that is really a bureaucracy at what cost, to re-allocate moneys back to working family that should not be deducted in the first place. control, control, control. that's what.

Yeah fellows, I agree with the assessment . They only spread the societal rot. Why should , say, Alberta separate from the rest of the country now? It's the same place , really - call it , Ontario west. My country, 'tis of thee, and all that rot.
If the powers behind the various Canadian governments wanted to encourage lots of Canadian babies we'd have a baby boom in no time flat. Less income tax on young families would go a long way toward that happy result. Positive financial incentives would do the rest. But no, they discourage it and sponsor immigrants from who knows where, taxing us to bloody death to pay for it, all the while justifying it with a "need" for worker replacements. Then they top their own hypocrisy by throwing their hands in the air and claiming they can't solve the societal problems they themselves created. Makes me mad - which means I'm still sane, and not Liberal.
I still might move to New Brunswick if I can buy guns and ammo there without the gummyment sticking its fetid breathed , wart infested face in mine. We need to tell gummyment we don't need them, and to back off and leave us the hell alone!

A gang banger shoots his own gang members, no report of any return fire from the victim-gnagsters? Guyana? hardly sounds like a farmer or a hunter. We are over taxed to pay for d-bags like Mr. Husbands. Most new immigrants are anti-gun lefty entitlement seekers, which I think the folks in IMMIGRATION prefer to white, Canadian born, freedom-loving citizens. Empire building within imigration Canada is obvious, expanding, and unrestrained. Why would Government invest in the world's damaged goods for Canadian citizenship? Desperate people from other disfunctional countries are very easy to manipulate. of course, none of this is politically correct opinion. which would provoke accusations of "racism" and, "bigot" what a country. What a way to strangle expression and debate. Now, Taxpayers are on the hook for Mr Husband's lengthy incarceration. wheee.

Yeah, the madness never stops. I've been doing some researching and it appears the reason many Canadian - born younger adults are not having near as many children as we need to keep the birthrate going is because they simply can't afford it. Yet our government still brings in every Tom Dick and Harry without first ensuring that they will conform to Canadian values. That is my biggest thing. I don't care where a person is from, as long as they're willing to assimilate into Canadian society. Anyway, that shooting is a sign our gunlaws don't work. We've made a bit of headway with this government in terms of scrapping the LGR but much more needs to happen. You guys think we gonna see any further changes in the near future? I'm getting tired of the PC bullshit in Canada. It's insanity. Thought about moving to the US if things don't change up here but there are as many as 60 million Americans unemployed at the moment. Guess all we can do at this point is keep the pressure on our MPs.

Among issues already mentioned , what does that say about our so called justice system, immigration system, and why couldn't the cops see immediately that he'd flown the coop? Did the battery on his leg bracelet suddenly give out?
If someone there were a concealed carry holder, and well trained in defensive handgun use, I suspect that the outcome would have been much different. As in one incapacitated shooter punk being wheeled out along with his shot "friend", and no one else injured. The states has it right.

.................................
TORONTO - An unspecified personal issue apparently sparked the bloody weekend gun rampage that left one man dead and two people badly wounded, including a teen who was shot in the head during a family outing at one of Canada's top tourist spots.
.................................
A man under house arrest for a previous charge turned himself in to police early Monday and was charged with one count of first-degree murder and six of attempted murder related to the Eaton Centre shooting.
................................
The dead man, along with an associate who remained in critical condition with gunshot wounds, belonged to the same gang as the accused, police said.
...........................
"Regardless, I do not believe this to be a gang-motivated shooting," said Det. Sgt. Brian Borg, the lead investigator. "I believe there's personal aspects involved."
.........................
Police refused to discuss a possible motive behind Saturday's violence.
...........................
Wearing a blue hoodie under a grey jacket, Christopher Husbands, 23, appeared briefly in court Monday afternoon as his lawyer tried to cover his face with a notebook.
........................
Husbands, who was remanded in custody until a video appearance Aug. 15, should not have been out of his home at the time of the shooting that sent panicked shoppers scrambling for the exits, police said.
.............................
The father of the accused said Husbands, who has a five-year-old daughter with an ex-girlfriend, was born in Guyana and immigrated to Toronto in 2000.
.......................
Police said they were not looking for any other suspects.
"There was one shooter, one gun," Borg said. "Unfortunately, that gun inflicted a substantial amount of human damage."
.......................................
Ahmed Hassan, 24, died of gunshot wounds at the scene.

Also , He HAD just gotten out of jail, and was quote "well known to police". He was under house arrest at the time he shot his "friend" (with friends like that, who needs enemies).
So again - where in hell did he get the gun ? From a street dealer? Does that mean it was or wasn't registered or licenced. S%^& what an effed up country !!!

Sorry to contradict you, but the story in the Sun says the shooter's name was Cristopher Husbands. That's a cracker name if I ever heard one. The man shot dead (Ahmed Hassem)was indeed his "friend" according to the story. If a person going by that very North American sounding name, Christopher Husbands, was foreign born I have so far been unable to find mention of it. If Christopher, again, Husbands WAS the shooter, Husbands was Guyana born , you're right, the MSM seems to have kept a tight lid on it. If not, I guess we'll find that out too, through time.

The Eaton mall Rampage Shooter is a Guyana Born man of African anscestry.
I know it's hard to find out the truth on the Media ,they want to cover for one of their pet minoritys, until they can figure out how to produce some Multicultural damage control.
The shooting wasn't gang related ,the Turdskin opened up in a crowded mall full of people because of some argument he had a with his buddy, Ahmed Hassan.
In fact they were friends, they went to the Mall together.
This is what the the Liberal Mental cases have been letting into Canada for decades now.
It's only going to get worse, since there's no effort to stop Turd World immigrants entering Canada.
This is our HOME and Native land, WE have a RIGHT to decide who lives in our home.

The guy who did the food court shooting apparantly turned himself in earlier today. A 23 year old punk gang member just out of jail , from what little I can tell from the Sun story, for another firearms related crime. His motive? To kill, and he certainly did, another member of his gang because of an argument !!! Here my speculative bent rules large for me - where in hell did he get the gun? Probably off the downtown back alley vendor. These hormonally enraged, mentally inhibited young gang bangers can always get a firearm, and no amount of legislation against the 99.9999999 % of decent firearms owners will EVER change that fact. He, and guys like him who kill wantonly with guns or knives, etc., need to go to jail for life, where they will hopefully get the intense psychological help they need.
All the CFOs know the true intent of trashing the registry, as New Brunswick has proven. So now I can only blame "Safety Minister" Toews for not cracking down HARD on every last one of them !!

I have found myself lacking in energy on this or any issue lately. genius has limitations, but not so for idiocy. We gun owners are up against a world of stupid. They are too effen lazy to process the simplist truth, that Canadian gun owners (farmers and hunters) are not now and never have been the PROBLEM. INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. must mean something or it means nothing. The police seem 2 happy to harass honest gun owners, their prejudice is rewarded. They support both criminalization of farmers and hunters as well as charging fees for licensing. thats called EXTORTION. they weild the club of arrest and confiscation and possible detention, and push compliance with exorbitant free-pass to break the law LICENSING. My sense of outrage is strong, alas, as is my lingering nausea. My buddy's stepsons funeral put me in a funk. a 35 yr old man dies of cancer, maybe the $$$ wasted harassing gun owners would a saved him, had that $$$ been invested in early detection and treatment of CANCER, which kills eighty thousand canadians every year, CANCER is the TRUE threat to public safety.

I was kind of thinking the shooter's name'd be Joe MacKenzie or John Smith, probably a duck hunter from northern Ontario. LOL! During Canada's last shooting rampage, just be glad the CPC was in power and not the Lieberals. After Dawson, Harper still made it crystal clear he would not renege of his promise to scrap the LGR. As for Redford, perhaps this exactly what Albertans need to get up off of their comfortable behinds and wake up. Hopefully the WR will get in in four years.

Toronto police say they think they know who shooter is in deadly mall rampage!
TORONTO - Police said Sunday they think they know who the gunman is in the shooting rampage at Toronto's Eaton Centre that killed one man and injured several other people.
Police confirmed their initial impressions that the shooting was a targeted act, acting deputy chief Jeff McGuire told a news conference Sunday.
”This is one very large horrific event, but it’s not the state of the city of Toronto, it’s an isolated incident, there have been other shootings, but ... please do not gauge the city on what we saw yesterday,” he said.
The man who was killed, who police identified as - " Ahmed Hassan ".

Hugo Chavez just banned the entire private ownership of firearms in his tin pot dictatorship Venezuela. This was the dream of Turdo and the NDP today. Had a University Professor from Edmonton walk up to me yesterday,he's moving into the new house down the street,he's a boomer who's retiring soon,he came up to me as i was with my wife talking to a neighbor,we'd never seen this guy before, and within a few minutes, out of nowhere, he brought up how relieved he was that the extreme right-wing "Wild Rose Party",which he called the "Wild West Party",hadn't got elected.
My wife said she saw my face turn into Flint.
I was pissed ,but like a typical Canadian, i was polite.
I found this encounter unusual, since he never introduced himself, just went almost immediately into a rant about the "far right",and the "Wild Rose Party",without knowing ,or caring ,about our politics.

Don't know how Albertans could be so stupid to vote in a feminist Marxist Un loving, freedom hating premier. Perhaps the younger generation didn't bother to vote and the boomers who've been voting PC since the late 60s were too scared to vote anything different. Anyway, here's hoping the WR can still clinch a win in four years' time. THat's if Ms. Redford doesn't run the place into the ground before then.

Redford first Alta premier to attend gay pride festival, organizers say.
By The Canadian Press | The Canadian Press – 55 minutes.
...................
EDMONTON - Organizers of this year's gay pride festival in Edmonton are calling the news that Alberta Premier Alison Redford will attend a "milestone."
...................
Festival spokesman Terry Harris says that to his knowledge, no Alberta premier has accepted an invitation before.
................
Redford's official itinerary for next week states the premier will greet the Edmonton Pride Festival on Saturday afternoon in Sir Winston Churchill Square, which is in front of City Hall.
.................
Harris says the event in the square immediately follows the annual pride parade.
.............
During the provincial election campaign in April, an online video surfaced of Opposition Wildrose Party candidate Allan Hunsperger claiming homosexuals would burn in a lake of fire.
................
Redford said at the time that if Hunsperger was a Progressive Conservative, she would have removed him from her team.
.........................
Didn't take long for Redford to show her true color, "Red" .
