Report Post"yesterday" how can the cops possibly protect us when their job is to protect the criminals! How did we ever sink this low. It's beyond me. That mountie was probably someone who got in because of "affirmative action." And yet TL, our police for the most part have become nothing but meter maids and tax collectors for the all powerful state. My grandfather served in WWII, fought with the Vandoos at Normandy Beach, also known as DDay. Throughout high school, I had my heart set on joining the Canadian Army possibly help those less fortunate through peacekeeping. Nowadays I look at our guys in Afghanistan. ALthough I support them, I ask myself "Why the hell are we over there? Fighting for freedom? Who's freedom. Personally, I would not risk my ass to fight for a country that is becoming more of a police state, that passes a law saying I'm a criminal for not having a piece of paper because my property, that wants to restrict my GOd given rights to freedom of speech, that wants to tax me to death.....
