Considering so many people nowadays are on antidepressents (by and large so the pharmaceutical industry can make millions of $) most are not a threat to public safety. Years ago in Canada when anyone could buy a long gun society was safer then again most of the monkeys were in the zoo, if you get my drift.Today, due to the bleeding heart hippy dippy foolishness of the past 40 years, many of these people have been deinstitutionalized and are living among us.
Again the braindead public is focusing too much on the inanimate object and not on the fact we're letting too many people from violent cultures into our nation and that the family unit has been all but destroyed.
Personally, I believe everyone has an inalieable right to keep and bear arms and that right should not be infringed. Even somebody who has just got out of prison is a free man or woman.
