Comments:	i don't think its necessary to license gun owners... this is just a way for government to keep track of who has the firearms... obviously a person having a firearm license is more than likely to have a firearm... so even if you don't register any specific firearm..the state will know where to come to, and who to put the thumbscrews on to get your firearms.. i don't know why they license car drivers...it may be due to the more complicated use a car is put to....as a way of ensuring safer operation. but i know its not necessary to license firearm owners,any tool or knife can do the damage a firearm can given the right circumstances.. a firearm is not 2 tons of steel hurtling down the road at 60 mph,requiring some level of training and skill, with the license being the verification that you have attained it. there's been no need to train and license firearm owners for the last 100 years ,so why all of a sudden this big push... i think we all know there's a hidden agenda to keep tabs on firearm owners ,and thats exactly why we don't want that.. the state should be kept unsure and off balance as to the power of the people to resist tyranny... i say no to licensing,and no to registration... these are roots of the same evil tree.
