Operation Newspaper Clippings

By now, most of the public knows about Operation Overload, which is still in full force and highly successful as mentioned by the Government and the Canadian Firearms Center's (CFC) spokesperson Dave Austin.  See the acknowledgment that the CFC gave to LUFA!  Riding on the success of Operation Overload, we are now launching Operation Newspaper Clippings which is to begin immediately.

The purpose of Operation Newspaper Clippings is to inform our friends in Ottawa who are so convinced that Gun Control is Crime Control which has been proven wrong in other nations. (Britain, Australia and several others)

Our goal is to send about 250,000 pieces of mail in the next few months.

The purpose of LUFA's Operation Newspaper Clippings is to inform Ottawa that Gun Control IS NOT Crime Control.

Here's how it works:

Cut out every article in your newspaper that has to do with crime or anything that remotely relates to it.  Place 1 article into an envelope and mail it to the Government/Department of Justice for FREE:

Send all mail Postage Free to:

MP Martin Cauchon
House of Commons
Ottawa, On
K1A 0A6

or

MP Martin Cauchon (CFC)
284 Wellington St
Ottawa, ON.  K1A 0H8

A box of  500 envelopes (Staples or Office Depot) costs about $10  Be sure to mail 1 clipping per envelope and if you have internet access, print as many news articles as possible and mail it for free.  Phone Cauchon's office a week later and confirm that they received your letter and ask if they will be willing to make a comment on the article that you sent.

Contact the LUFA office if you would like to have an ink Stamp sent to you for the cost of the stamp and mailing.

Remember, if you run out of newspaper, be sure to scribble on any piece of paper what you think about the Gun Registry and send that to Cauchon.

Be sure to also send your information to the CFC so that they know GUN CONTROL IS NOT CRIME CONTROL.

Mail the CFC postage free and with no return address to:

MP Martin Cauchon
Canadian Firearms Centre (CFC)

P.O. Box 1200
Miramichi, New Brunswick
E1N 5Z3

or

MP Martin Cauchon
Canadian Firearms Centre (CFC)

Or phone the CFC.   Optionally, you can dial *67 (wait for the dial tone) this will hide your phone number from whomever you call.
