Operation Postcard

Edmonton, AB: The latest offensive against the federal firearms registry and the embattled Justice Department was launched today by LUFA with an announcement to the entire 25,000 plus national membership of the organization. “It’s time to shutdown this Minister of Justice and his office before he wastes any more of your tax dollars,” stated Bruce Hutton the founder of LUFA.

“This program is a broad based operation similar in nature to the highly successful Operation Overload. Participation will come from members and non-members alike from across Canada and the USA who are concerned about this waste of tax payers dollars. Our lines have been flooded, our servers running overtime with unusually high activity. Why? Because the average Canadian is just completely fed up with Cauchon’s nonsense and the nonsense of this Federal Government. They want action and we are going to deliver on our organization’s mandate to take action. We welcome everyone’s participation,” stated Hutton.

“We are going to provide all national members, and anyone who contacts our office, with a pre-addressed, postage free postcard to the Minister with a simple message of their intention of non-compliance with the registration program, which by the way is already on the rocks,” added Hutton.  “We have many more surprises in store for this Federal Government in the new year and their leadership.”

“We will shut down the Department of Justice. We will shut down the Canadian Firearms Centre. We will shut down this shameful legacy of the Liberal Party. It’s their choice but the Prime Minister must take the appropriate action by ending this program. A program initiated by Allan Rock and perpetuated by the shameful actions of a succession of Justice Ministers. He must remove the current Minister responsible for this fiasco.  If we see some sensible federal leadership on this issue, we would be willing to assist the federal government in designing legislation aimed at criminals and truly making Canadians safer,” concluded Hutton.
